CPEC WOULD LEAD TO FASTER DEVELOPMENT: SBI CHIEF 2

The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is very much in Pakistan's interest, as it would lead to development on a faster pace, said the Chairperson of Sindh Board of Investment (SBI), Naheed Memon, on Thursday. Speaking at a moot organized by the Mass Human Resource Services and SBI here, she said a huge sum of money is being utilized under the CPEC to resolve energy problems and improve infrastructure of the country. She said that support to the CPEC is in Pakistan's own interest. "However, we would also have to keep in view the interests of our industries," she added.
